Popular Cake Decorations

Cake decorations are varied and numerous. Almost anything can be used to decorated a cake, inlcuding flowers and fauna being the most popular form of cake decoration.

Chocolate cup towers are often decorated with flowers, such as roses placed between each chocolate cup. The stem is trimmed to match the radius of the tier, this ensures the flower will fit perfectly and will not fall from the arrangement. The flower stems are also wrapped with a green sticky tape to prevent any flower juice from escaping onto the cake.

Other decorations include edible glitter and beads, which are safe to eat and can look great on cakes.

Decorations that can add a center piece to your cake can be cake toppers, handmade from sugar or clay, these figures can be in the shape of the bride and groom or their pets etc.
